Tinder is an app that is notorious for being a sex hunting ground, Samira Elagoz plays into that idea, while transforming it into something more innocent, a first kiss.
She uses the forwardness and immediacy of this hookup app, and only meets boys for that moment.
They shake hands, exchange names, and kiss.
This installation is inspired by lyrics from a young Finnish pop star:
“I wanna be your first kiss,
I know you wanna feel like this,
Girl I'm gonna show you what true love is,
I wanna be your first kiss”
